Horrible Bosses - Really funny, and the cameos from Aniston, Spacey and Farrell were all hilarious. 4/5

Drive - The hype is justified. My only complaint would be that it's just a tad bit too gory, other than that a fantastic, stylish movie. 5/5

I like gore when it's done right, but over the top CGI gore just looks lame.

30 Minutes or Less - meh, it was funny but I was really underwhelmed considering it was from the guy who made Zombieland. 3/5

Saw it, and it was a bad ass movie. I didn't find the gore to be that bad as far as being overly CGI.
Gossling was like a pretty boy version of Steve McQueen in the movie

I don't mind a bit of gore when it's done right but those scenes just looked a bit too computer generated.
And the shotgun to the head was a bit much.

Best part of the movie. When Gossling gives Hendrick's the business. I knew shit was going down when he shut the door and started putting the gloves on.

He should have bent her over for a quickie.

Just got back from seeing The Woman In Black - A very creepy old fashioned ghost movie, definitely one to see at night with the lights off. 4/5

the ides of march. Pretty good. My wife liked it because it has her boy, Gosling.
Drive-seems pretty good thus far.

drive isn't over yet and it has quite a bit of gore. Probably too much and I like gore. I don't think this much was necessary.captainanddew wrote:the ides of march. Pretty good. My wife liked it because it has her boy, Gosling.

for whatever reason the gore in Drive was distracting. The movie had a certain weight to it and then it seemed to change and become a bit obsessed with the violent quotient in the 2nd half.

It was just too OTT, didn't help the fact they made the blood CGI. The Hendrick's scene was totally unnecessary, they could have easily just had that part play out off camera.

Went to the theater last night and I saw Safehouse - Really enjoyed it, perfect for a Friday night, the action was quality and as usual Denzel was badass. It was also probably the loudest film I've seen for awhile, the gun shots and car chaces almost blew out my eardrums. 4.5/5

Green Lantern - No where near as bad as it was made out to be, I really enjoyed it, it's good fun. 3.5/5
