Freddie Roach says they want Sergio Martinez

OK so what would be a good weight for them to fight at? If Sergio wants pac I dont think we can ask for it to be at middle.

Manny is a natural 130lb fighter

SM is a natural 154lb fighter

So you guys want the fight at 154? I think 147 is too low for sergio but 154 is too high for manny.

Yeah, but think about it - everyone wants to make the money with Pac that they can't make with anyone else; and the guy is essentially a light welterweight taking on all these big guys. Didnt Berto say he is not ready and wants Pac at the end of 2011? Also I think he should fight PW. But really what would that prove right now. PW would need one comeback fight after that brutal of a KO. I say fight JMM in April and put PW vs some can on the undercard to set up a fight in the summer between them. Then after he KO's PW on to Berto because he said he would be ready. Sound good?

Second Margo is a Welter so the 150 limit did not hurt him at all. He fought a guy many of you thought would win because of his size and now its a con. Whats with the change of heart?

But really there is no one to fight below 147 besides JMM and those two are the same size. Either way I want him to clean out 147 after he fights JMM for the third time. I think that is the best possible route to take.

But Margo only had one fight at 154 before the Pac fight right?

Also Berto said that he doesnt want Manny until late 2011. Here is the article that shows what he wants. He said he would like Mosley, then Cotto and finish off the year with Pac. So if Berto is out I say set up JMM 3. Its the only legitimate option unless he goes up two weight classes to fight SM.

If Berto wants the fight now then do it. But really as a Berto and manny fan I have to say he is not ready. He is not a cake walk but he will get KO'd by Manny right now.

im also a berto fan but disappointed a bit by him..sooner if they the pac folks think like you then ALL the more reason to do the berto fight now.

I think Berto is the most interesting fight for Pac right now. Not sure I agree that just because his people made the offer that actually means he's ready for Pac; more likely it means he's ready to take that big money fight before Pac retires to run the Philipines. Berto's footwork still isn't good enough to hang with Pac, IMO.But it would be a fun action fight, as long as it lasted.

A third fight with JMM, as much as he may derserve it, doesn't seem like it would be very competitive at this point (Pac is bigger and better than he was in the first two fights).
