Mares-Moreno in the works 10/13

great fight! lets hope it actually happens. mares has fought tough fighters and is still not thought of by most as a top p4p fighter. thats why donaire is running scared because mares will steal his thunder.

Steve Kim was talking about it last week. It's a very good fight. The pressure Mares will bring to Moreno will make it one hell of a fight and give Moreno a lot of problems just like Cermeno did, who's lesser of a fighter than Mares. Hopefully Donaire fights Mares of they both with their upcoming bouts.

Should be a nice night of fights, two bad HBO & SHO like going against each other...

I still have no idea why these two networks insist on airing fights on Saturdays. Throw one on a Monday, Thursday, Sunday afternoon, something else than on the same night at the same time. WTF!

I also have Moreno winning it. I'm sure the winner will want the Donaire-Nishioka winner but I doubt they will get him. Moreno vs Rigondeaux would be a chess match that I would like to see but it would not be the most exciting fight.

although i do think moreno is good, i believe that mares is getting underrated. he has proven that he can beat all style of boxers. he isnt just a pressure fighter. he is technically sound also. not that i think that moreno has no shot, but i think that mares wins convincingly. and donaire wont fight the winner. the winner will face rigo, and then by the time that happens, donaire will have moved up another weight class to fight another bum.

I've been saying this forever. Yes, let's air live fights at times where there are least amount of TV viewers, Friday and Saturday nights. Instead of, like you said, airing some fights on Sunday night or Monday night.

It's a solid fight, I think Mares pressure is going to give Moreno huge problems.
