Duran beats Floyd if the fight is at 135 or 140.

Duran was a great boxer in his own right. He wasn't just the brawler most casual fans think of him as. Duran fought all the up to the light heavyweight division and did alright if I remember correctly. He also beat Leonard in the first fight. Duran is possibly the greatest 135lb fighter in history. I think he brings to much for Floyd and probably KO's him in 6-8. Don't get me wrong Floyd is probably one of the greatest fighters of my generation, but Duran is one of the greatest of all time.

i dont think that the fight ends in a KO because if we are talking about a prime mayweather, his defense is great so i think that he can avoid the KO but i would assume the scores would be around the 118-110 or 117-111 range. maybe 116-112.

I believe Floyd would be able to frustrate Duran the way Leonard was able to in the "no mas" fight and win a decision.

Duran is more accomplished at 135. I think he beats Floyd here but I think that Floyd beats him at 147. I also think that the comparison is bad because neither fought at each others best weight.

Floyd refuses Duran and instead fights Saoul Mamby for one dollar more, them claims to be the greatest of all time.

i dont really want to compare that fight for 2 reasons. one, leonard was a different fighter than mayweather. leonard had a bigger punch and was more offensive minded in general. second, i think that match has been blown out of proportion a bit throughout time. yes, leonard decided to box more, but duran wasnt just getting destroyed. i thought that the fight was still close by the time that duran quit. thats why i do believe that something was wrong with duran that night because it was so out of character for him.

mayweather would be on the defense a lot more and duran would get through his defense quite a bit while mayweather would land some good shots here and there but wouldnt be able to weather the storm and slow down duran.

Duran KO

Castillo broke down Mayweather at lightweight, Duran does it from 135-154. Mayweather has beaten a lot of good fighters, but he wont look so great against actual great fighters.

I would pick Duran but I dont see him just crushing manny. Manny has a chin. I wish Manny had another fighter out there that is his caliber that would actually fight him. Boxing fans are being robbed right now.
