This is cool. Besides airing Pacquiao-Marquez 24/7 eps, CNN will also air Mayweather-Ortiz 24/7 starting same night it debuts on HBO 8/27.

Only hype both PPVs even more now.

Hopefully this is now mandatory for all big PPV's. HBO needs to use every asset available to them.

I'm all for multi-media platforms to advertise fights. What WB who owns HBO should have done a long time ago. But Greenburg had a problem with it.

Maybe Hardcorebee can chime in, but CNN seems like a odd place to put a 24/7. I thought was going to be on TNT or TBS.

CNN from what I remember, struggles in the 18-35 demographic.

But hey, it's better then nothing, which exactly what we got in Greenburg HBO era

My guess is CNN is demo they want to target, the older white males, the "former" boxing fans

I thought everybody is after 18-35 year old males. It's most coveted with advertisers, for sure.

They want people with $$$, business folks.

It won't hurt, that's for sure. I've always thought 24/7s become waste of money because nobody outside hardcore fans watch them now. Sure, when first 24/7 with Oscar-Mayweather came out, it was new, and must-see TV. Now, not so much. Especialy since it's always the same guys. Mayweather or Pac.

I think it'd be better to do a short 30 minute like Countdown and have it on different platforms. CNN, TNT right after a baseball or college football game.
