Never seen last nights Khan before
The Khan from last night is ready for Flod. Not saying he can't be countered but by the middle of next year bring the fight on overseas.

I agree. The guy is on that Elite level now. He has improved massively under Roach

key is to keep improving. Stay controlled but not tight. Don't go back to the way he lunged in the mcCloskey and Maidana fights. Be even more authoritative with the jab.
As long as he stays controlled, behind the jab, and doesn't over-extend himself, then he is going to be trouble for anyone.

Agree with what everyone said. He's made the leap.
I want to see him in with a pressure fighter to see how he reacts under fire and if he reverts back (I also want to see if he can throw a hook or an uppercut off his back foot). The Bradley fight makes perfect sense.

I think the real questions will be at 147. I think Bradley is his biggest challenge at 140 but Khan should be able to get past him by virtue of the size difference.
At 147, he is going to face guys who are much closer in length. He won't have the built in advantage of being able to touch guys from a range where his chin is protected (because they can't reach him).

Re: Never seen last nights Khan before
I could be wrong, but I think Khan will have a career sorta like Terry Norris.
Different periods of total domination and impressiveness occasionally interrupted by his chin betraying him. Nothing wrong with that.
I just don't see him being able to put together super-long undefeated periods with that chin. You can't hide that achilles heel forever.
I think he should be trying to get Prescott in the ring now. It's just not becoming of a fighter like him to have unsettled business floating around, especially with Prescott being available, coming off a win, and in the same weight class.
When did avenging defeats become such a low priority? In the old days, this woulda already happened.

Khan will only need to fight Prescott if its a tune up. Khan is levels above him at this point and fighting him is a waste. Khan should keep ftaking these risks because hes being well respected at this point. hes proved a lot in that Maidana fight about his toughness and chin. now against Zab, he put on a great preformance that will make others fear him (Bradley). He looked unbeatable (at 140) last night.
Khan should offer Bradley a fight again, when his pussy ass turns it down, give Maidana his rematch. If Khan wins, move up. Khan is almost about done at this weight class.

It makes no sense to not fight Prescott next in England if he cant fight Floyd.ScottLevinson wrote:I could be wrong, but I think Khan will have a career sorta like Terry Norris.

Prescott faces McCloskey in September. He has to beat him first in order for Kahn to be able to take the rematch.

The future is very bright for Khan, as long as he listens to Freddie Roach he'll become a star world wide.

Re: Never seen last nights Khan before
He should be on a world tour fighting whoever he can until he can secure a big fight, one of those fights being the Prescott rematch. He should do just what Bute has done at 168. Some say Bute was beaten by Andrade and Bute KO'd him in the rematch and has made a name for himself in the division as well as gotten great paydays.

Re: Never seen last nights Khan before
If Bradley doesn't want him I'd rather see him go up to 147 now and take on a contender than beat Prescott. Or fight Prescott at 147. I think he should take a fight to get used to the weight.
