There would be no college athletics at all if they all....

• Obey the law and all campus policies
• Use clean language

• Abstain from alcoholic beverages, tobacco, tea, coffee and substance abuse
• Participate regularly in church services
• Observe the Dress and Grooming Standards
• Encourage others in their commitment to comply with the Honor Code

How do they manage to compete at the level they do?

no beer or liquor. No women. no cussing. no coffee. shave regularly. Damn, I'd never have made it. I broke those rules every day at college.

At the danger of offending anyone on the forum who is mormon: DMAR, you do realize mormons are a bit out there.

In the late 1820s, Joseph Smith said that an angel directed him to a buried book of golden plates inscribed with a religious history of ancient American peoples. After publishing what he said was an English translation of the plates as the Book of Mormon, he organized branches of the "Church of Christ". Adherents of this new religion would later be called Latter Day Saints.

If you accept a scholarship to BYU, you need to follow the rules there. Unless it is your only D-I scholarship offer, then I don't see the reason for going there (unless you are a Mormon).
