My vote is yes. He lost a razor close decision to P4P ranked PW. Then beat the man at MW. Then KTFO P4P ranked PW. In that same time span, we saw Mayweather beat Marquez-a lightweight(though P4P ranked) and beat Mosley. Mosley though ranked in the P4P rankings at the time, was 39 years old.

i still dont know why bradley is in the rankings when there are so many other fighters that deserve the spot over him.

Donaire at #4 is a lot lot worse

At least Bradley has been active and facing good fighters
Abregu at 147 and in 09 beat Lamont Peterson, Holt, and Campbell

I don't get get why Mayweather Jr. keeps getting ranked in the top 10 P4P he's not active enough, what's he had like 5 fights in the last 5 years? Rank the guys who merit it by fighting regularly.

I have no problem with Sergio being 6th, just as long as he's in the top 10.

Bradley has beaten some ranked fighters at 140. His competition level has been pretty good and he has a chance to take on Alexander and possibly the Khan vs Maidana winner (if he gets by Alexander). he has the chance to show that he not only deserves to be on the P4P list, but in the top 5.

Martinez
2008 3-0 all by including win over strap holder Alex Bunema
2009 beats Cintron and Williams (even if the records dont show it, 0-1-1)
2010 MW Champ when he shreds Pavlik up and then crushes Williams in 2

Mayweather
2008 Retired/vacation
2009 UD Marquez
2010 UD Nosley

Im going to have to go with the more active guy here

.....i agree totaly..rankings years ago in ring magazine for example several times a guy droped in the ratings lets say from 3-6 in there monthly rankings..the reason outside of a loss was inactivity and back then inactivity ment you didnt fight in four months...ill take activity with success over resting on your laurells anytime.

I'd put him at Number 2, Floyd fought Mosley and Marquez in the span of 2 years, Martinez fought Pavlik and Williams, he should be # 2.

Martinez and Montiel should both move up. Floyd should move down because of inactivity.

#3 in my opinion.

Flod and Manny are in their own league at the moment.

Floyd hasn't fought an elite fighter in his prime for a long, long, long, time.

what am I thinking, Floyd hypothetically already dismantled PW, Cotto, Margarito, and Pacquiao. There is no one left for him to fight.

none of those guys he beat are world class. they are all just solid fighters. i think that most of the people in the SMW tournament should be in there over bradley. ward should definitely be over bradley

Like it or not before Flod waxed him Shane Mosley was the top dog at Welterweight and alot of people picked Shane to win.

P4P isn't just about competition it's about the boxers ability inside the ring. Flod is hands down the greatest boxer active today, Manny is the most entertaining.

ali who are amoung the many that picked mosley to beat floyd..hardly anyone on the forums..nor the oddsmakers.nor fans who were concerened the guy was pushing 40 and inactive..what martinez has done the past 18 months has been far greater then floyds accomplishments of beating a old past his best mosley and a small older marquez..floyd ducked and avoided williams for 3 plus years..when suggested he fight pavikj heaven forbid his fans said hes too big yet martinez moved up and so did pac..
now of course floyd may entertain fighting williams providing he go down to 147 a weight that will drain him dispite what williams claims or seek out a 135 pound fighter again like martinez..sorry ..i disagree..again a huge majority picked mosley to lose.

Please Flod never ducked Williams, Paul was never in the position of even being close to being considered an opponent for Flod, You've forgotten how easily Carlos Quintana handled Williams when he was a welterweight. That claim is a crock of shit.

Martinez has had an impressive year but he's still not a better boxer than Flod is.

If you would've said Cotto I'd have agreed with you, Flod certainly went out of his way to avoid him. But at no stage in Flod's career did he ever avoid Williams, he was only a rising Welterweight during the period Flod was active in the division.

then why are we talking floyd at all..when floyd was active in the division..when was he ever active in the division..how many active fights has he had in the last 5 years..sergios number 2 behind pac pound for pound..why are we considering a inactive fighter..floyds activity level against a inactive washed up 40 year old fighter in mosley..mora proved that..
