I saw the Matthysse fight

He looked decent and out classes some Journeymen who came in with 10 losses. Matthesse won by KO in the 4th round, off a body shot. A little odd as his opponent didn't go down. After getting hit with a body shot, he turned his back in pain and the ref gave him a standing 8 count in an earlier round. Same thing happened again in the fourth with a hard body shot and the ref counted him out. That's the first 10 count I've seen a guy receive while being on his feet the whole time.

Sounds like you had a good time. That is weird to see a full standing ten count. You see that inthe AMs all the time, not so much in pro boxing. I guess the ref was not liking what he was seeing from the fighter during the count.

Matthysse now wants his chance again to fight Morales or the winner of the Khan-Peterson fight.
