Roy's story is not unusual at all. On the contrary, it's something I've become used to. The saddness of a figther, once great, trying to recapture a past which has been long dead. In the process, these guys become brain damaged or deceased. Roy is an interesting case because he's been allowed to be a sportscaster for HBO which I'm sure has paid him well. So, I'm guessing money isn't the motivation here. An addiction to glory is. All you have to do is look at his face when he is introduced.

Well it's not like HBO hires him for free, Roy needs to call it a day already. Commissions in America need to stop granting him a license.
