Is the iPad legit?

Im looking to get one for school purposes (my excuse lol) but Im not sure if its really worth it. Anyone here own one?

Some random lent me one on a long plane ride while he slept and I played a lot of Plants vs. Zombies. Other than that, I'm not sure what you'd use it for.

yes its pretty cool. I have an iPad and an HP touchpad. The iPad is a better product but its $300 more. What all do you want to know?

Advantages and disadvantages? I have an iPhone and a Laptop as it is. My friend has one and I use it in class because my professor is boring as hell. Its like a big iPhone from the time I use it. I just want to know if its worth getting one.

It all depends on you. I love tablets for the games and wed surfing but other than that I just use a laptop. Also the remote desktop feature on all the tablets is pretty awesome.

iPad is useless to me. My smartphone or laptop is just fine.
