Erik Morales vs Anthony Crolla Sept 17th ??

Looks like former three-division world champion Mexican Erik “Terrible” Morales will face British champion Anthony Crolla (28-2, 19 KOs) in Las Vegas on September 17 on the card featuring Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Victor Ortiz. Morales has already begun to train and hopes to make his training camp in the Otomi Ceremonial Center, and has been at it for some time. One source reports that the fight could be an opportunity for Morales to add to his legendary career and fight for a world title in a fourth weight division. The scenario would unfold if the WBC super lightweight belt, currently held by Timothy Bradley, is vacated.

he's a tiny little guy from Manchester that fights out of the Joe Gallagher camp in Manchester in the Denton gym where Ricky Hatton's star was born. he recently won the British Lightweight title against a guy named John Watson (who proper sucks). he's a pressure fighter with a come forward aggressive style and a low stance. he isn't even the number 1 guy in Britain in truth though, he is more the number 4 at the weight. total mismatch but Crolla must be loving the fact he gets to fight in Vegas on a Mayweather undercard vs such a legend. i'mn assuming this has come about because of the GBP/Hatton Promotions connections
