I really hope that fight happens. I really like Cotto and would love to see him get another shot at that guy.

if it happens I will probably go. I live in Virginia and that could be a doable trip.

Normal case you say a rematch would play out like first fight but stoppage victory sooner for Margacheato. But this isn't normal. Was there cheating against Cotto? Cotto is probably better preserved than Margarito. Cotto has an actual trainer now.

I saw this coming a million miles away, I knew win or lose Arum would plan this rematch.

After the beatdown Manny gave Tony last night he'll be too war torn to make Miguel wilt, and with Steward now guiding Cotto he'll help him win a wide decision.

I always said that Margarito is all wrong for a guy like Cotto and that he beats Cotto 8 of 10. Margarito is a marathon, no matter how shop worn he is. Cotto is a sprinter, but so is Mosely. If Cotto can be effective early to the body and then go upstairs, I think he wins in under ten. If not we see another close decision that could go either way and possibly be Cottos last fight.

That's how I see it too. Cotto was winning the fight handily until 'cheato's loaded gloves smashed in Cotto's face in the late rounds.

Does Cotto have enough to land those bombs? Pac Margarito fight is one of the worst beating I've ever seen. Compared to Pac, Margarito got off easy against Mosley.

Cotto's nose was broken in the second round. Wraps or not, 2008 Antonio Margarito was al wrong for Miguel Cotto IMO. I do feel that Margarito loaded against Cotto. If Cotto isn't too damaged from three of his last five fights, I think he can beat Margarito.

At 154, even the beat up Margarito might be too much for Miguel

Agreed and if they fought an immediate rematch I'd pick Margarito. Right now after what Tony looked like against Pac I'm slightly leaning toward Cotto.
