Prizefighter is starting
If anyone is interested in the HW Prizefighter it's going to start soon.
They just gave Sir Henry the ten bell count and everyone in the crowd stood up to respect him

Not really watching it to be honest, just have it on in the backround.
Sprott vs Fields is next.

Re: Prizefighter is starting
who is this Mike Perez? I looked at boxrec and he is 25, from Cuba originally, and living in Ireland. Facing by far his best opponents tonight in prizefighter and from the first 2 fights, getting through them relatively easily.

Geale won by split decision.
I know. an absolutely fucked up split decision. 2 cards for Geale: 118-110, 118-112 for and the card for Sylvester was 118-110. Can't wait to hear how the fuck scorecards were that diverse (best guess without having seen a second of the fight-home cooking for SS on that one card).

okay, it says Perez TKO'd Fields in 32 seconds in the final. Fightnews said it may have been a quick stoppage. What do you think Ali? And is Perez decent as his performance seems to indicate he may have a chance to build a career.

Re: Prizefighter is starting
Perez was teeing off at Fields in the corner, might have been a tad premature but it was only a matter of time.
Seems to have potential, fast hands for a HW.

I think he was only 25 when I looked him up on boxrec. So potential. At the least he should be able to test himself against some decent Euro level opponents over the next couple of years.

Re: Prizefighter is starting
How about put him in with Holyfield or is he too dangerous for the the old man? He can get a scalp and hopefully force Holy into retirement.
