Will any network show another HW fight?

EPIX got the fight very cheap. They were in a a no-lose situation. If the fight sucked, they made in-roads with the promoter and champion, maybe got some more subscribers, and positioned themselves for future bouts. IF it was a good or great fight, they get all of the above plus the attention they are looking for and subscribers they need to move the company forward to the next level. You have to walk before you run guys. Epix is taking their first steps into the sport. Greenberg is a smart guy and boxing savy. He is already talking bout a monthly series of boxing with an eye at a weekly series. Give it time.

Point is Greenberg should have known better to use this fight as a showcase. When HBO and especially Showtime thinks it's crap, that means something.

Yeah what happened was a freak occurrence but is it that shocking it turned out the way it did? You think this is going to bring them new subscribers? It hurt them and boxing. They learned the hardway that HW division is a lost cause and only makes the sport look bad.

Shit, they'd be better off covering the Cruiserweight tounament

I believe EPIX expected a better fight, as did most of the rest of us boxing fans, that's just the way shit goes sometimes.

How could you expect a better fight? When was the last good fight involving a Klit? What has fat ass Solis done to show he could have made it a good fight? Show up grossly overweight? Not fighting a single top ten ranked opponent?

Epix if they are interested in the higher weights they should cover the Cruiser tournament
