MICHAEL KATSIDIS WILL FIGHT

Brave move and confirmation of what we already knew. Whatever else the Aussie is, he is one tough man.

Man that guy is one tough SOB. I am glad he decided to go ahead with the fight.

im rooting for him to pull off the upset..at times out with the old in with the new is good..this is one of thoses times maybe.

I have a hard time on who to root for in this one but you might be right. I really like Katsidis.

That has always been the way the sport works. The old lion finally gets slain by a youngun.

I just don't know if Katsidis has enough in this case.

Katsidis is one of my favorite current fighters:
1-He has a style that appeals to almost all boxing fans
2-I don't recall him coming into any fights out of shape
3-He gives it his all every fight
4-He seems to respect the sport and gets everything he can get out of his skill set

I hope he is able to concentrate on training and the fight while dealing with the horrible and shocking loss of his brother.

It is a part of the sport that admittedly I'm not always okay with. Too often it is a guy that is no longer a lion, but rather a lamb being lead to the slaughter.

In this case this is an old lion who still has alot of what made him great and a young lion who while tough as hell, is less skilled. Should be a good fight and while I favor Marquez, I wouldn't be shocked if Katsidis won the fight.
