Well, it looks like we can forget about seeing Stevenson v Kovalev anytime soon. Stevenson could have fought Pascal or Kovalev for big money on HBO. The Ward fight could have been there down the road if he won. Instead he wants Hopkins. Why? what does Hopkins bring? I don't see there being that much more money involved. Hopkins is not a big draw, and will certainly demand a big end of the purse split.

Stevenson is just looking for the least amount of risk, and he sees 49 year old Hopkins as being vulnerable. To hell with Stevenson I say.
