Carl Williams fought Larry Holmes for the IBF HW Championship. I believe the year was 1984 or 85. I will always believe Carl won that fight.

Carl had the complete package of a silver tongue, special boxing ability and loads of confidence. Ok, so he didn't have much of a chin, but nobody's perfect.

frank I agree.carl won that fight going away.even holmes knew that after the fight was over.
