Gamboa was hurt in round 2. I know he wants to move up and fight at lighweight to welter but the guy can't take a punch well. He's not going to be very successful at the higher weights.

Farenas vs Gamboa is a pretty damn good fight.

I keep trying to explain that to people & they say I'm crazy. He will not do well above 135. Rios would kill him.

i actually did think he would fair well in the higher weight classes till today. Farenas has been taking Gamboas punches and even wobbled him a few times already.

Gambia went down in the 9th. He was hit hard during an exchanging with Farenas and was badl hurt. If he can't take a jr lightweights punches, his chin won't hold up any where else. Gamboas problem is that he fights with his hands down and doesn't have a good chin.

Farenas needs a KO to win this fight. His best bet is to open up and get Gambla to exchange with him. It's the only thing that's worked for him.

One of the official judges is the one that scored Rios over Abril and another official judge had Chavez jr over Zbik. Both questionable decisions IMO

i'm still not excited for this fight (with ring walks happening). I am just to that point that I've seen enough Pac vs Marquez. I want something new. HOpefully one of them does something memorable.

close round. i wouldnt really say either person clearly won. but i would give it to JMM because he seemed to land punches in bunches

that was a close round.

JMM landing body shots, Pac landing the head shots

pac won round 2. he landed the better and more effective punches. JMM landed a few pretty good body punches though.
