THE BRITS BLEW IT.OLYMPICS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

in one of the worlds great cities and with millions of folks living there plus one of the most visted cities by tourist the brits thus far have made a farce out of the games.empty seats every where big time.im sure the demand for them given all the reasons above is big but the brits blew it..now they magicaly put up tens of thousands of tickets for sale hoping to fill seats that should of had no problems with.as of today still empty seats galor..now if your from the usa good luck trying to buy a single ticket.its fuck you.the main ticket office onsite for the games any european can buy them there but not a usa person.there rerouted to a resell ticket site almost an hour away where you fill stuff out online then are sent to a will call site hoping maybe you can get a ticket..
look the games had a usa guy win his 19th medal a first.one weightlifter lifted 3 times bodyweight overhead a first anywhere.the games will have fantastic moments of course..its also filled with what i feel is bullshit sports like ping pong batmittion kyacking beach volleyball horse dancing where mitt romneys wifes horse will compete.a fucking horse dance.geez.even if anyone wanted to view that crap there tickets but no one has them.
talk about image problems this olympics has it with empty seats.screw the excuses.folks from the usa are there like other countries pumping huge money into the hotels pubs eateries etc etc .spent money to get there and you tell usa folks fuck you.the rest of the europeans get prefernce big time but still the mystery tickets thus far has allooted them.
back here in the usa theres multi coverage of games and a lot of it crap ...im sure before the games are over seats will become filled at a better pace but at ripoff prices to usa folks if they can get one.the rest of the europeans after frustration and a vacation with tons of money spent may finaly be appeased..folks from china japan the former iron curtain i guess are treated better then the usa folks but below the european gang..pr wise image wise diplomatic wise the britts blew it.poor vision incompetence and other factors come into play..

badminton may be shit, but the couple minute video showing teams tanking the fucking match is priceless.

Yeah London should have been a massive success. Its in a great city and the Europeans and USA folks should have filled up every arena. I really dont remember the last olympics that had empty seats.

Greece had quite a few, IIRC. I think it had more to do with security concerns and things lagging way behind schedule.

Thats a shame. I know they didn't have a lot of time to prepare for the Olympics given it was on short notice. OH WAIT they only had 4 fucking years. Rio better be better.

They had seven, as everyone does. I have a feeling Rio will have similar issues, if the lack of progress towards the World Cup (in a country that eats, breathes, sleeps and shits soccer) is any indication.

Yeah its one of the more popular sports in the Olympics. Plus it was the US vs Russia. So you cant fill the seats at all with two huge countries like that?

..no one said its a failure but disappointing.they blew it pr wise for failing to plan.even the folks in the olympic committe admited they had problems big ones in tickets and things of that nature.the first 3 -4 days .all over the net including the british olympic committe said the blew it but hope to correct the ticket problems soon..it took major critisim from the media and complaints from the folks galor trying to get in the place with a ticket.had all been silent the problem would still maybe exist..so learn how to read and comprehend.
