A friend of mine who shoots footage for Entertainment Tonight tonight quoted more than one person in Ted's entourage stating the following; "Ted loves that 14 year old pussy."

How this sick fuck of a pervert has the nerve to raise his head above ground to do anything but catch dog shit in the face is beyond me.

They were willing to let the whole system crash. If they had their way, unemployment would have gone through the freaking roof.

I'm for lower taxes. I'm not against the rich.

But it makes no sense to me that inequality has skyrocketed in the last 30 yrs with the lowering taxes. If you are in the top 1% your income has grown since 1979. Top 1/10th of 1% then it has gone up more! Top 20 overall has done okay. Bottom 80% hasn't grown for shit.

I voted for the people (and believed in it myself) that said lowering taxes would continue to propel the economy and wasn't going to result in more inequality. Well, I and all Republicans appear to be wrong!!!

In the high tax era, 1933-to early 1970s, average income grew at a rate of close to three times inflation.

If the same rate of growth had occurred in the last 30 yrs, then the average income would have been around 95,000 by 2005 or so. That shit didn't happen under Republican policies. Didn't happen. instead the richest got richer and avg income did jack shit.

Fiscal conservatism was preached but it sure as hell wasn't practiced. Bush took us into Iraq for no fucking reason. Trumped up bullshit. He was no threat. He was a two-bit dictator. There are plenty of two-bit dictators. It doesn't mean we go there, break the country, and then have to stay and have our young men and women killed by fucking IEDs.

He put a ton of young kids in the ground or limited lives due to injuries (physical/mental) just because of personal vengeance.

If Ronald Reagan ran today they would say he was too liberal. A Grand Old Party isn't so grand anymore.

Agreed Capt, but we've got to make due with the 2 party system, because it's not likely to change anytime soon. As sorry as Republicans can be at times, when it comes to supporting or voting for them or the Democrats, it's no contest. There's absolutely nothing about the Democrats/liberals that I can identify with, it's the socialist party and/or all about welfare 'entitlements', and "special rights" for blacks, gays, lesbians/feminists, et al. The majority of people on welfare and other government handouts are Democrats. Did you know for example that something like 62% of welfare recipients in Virginia are black, and 95% of them are Democrats?

As far as politics are concerned, I think the office of President should be respected to a certain extent. For example, when nutcase and former Congresswomen, Cynthia McKinney, made the statement that George W. Bush was responsible for the 9/11 attacks, my response was, "Surrender evidence or surrender your job." I think that's a fair response.

There should be a general respect for the safety and reputation of any president, regardless of his party affiliation or political ideologies. There should also be no tolerance for child predators, no matter who they are. This was the main theme of this thread.
