Anyway, there's a great part where Tyson is watching Faces of Death right before he's suppose to be interviewed.

What 35 year old guy has a best friend he meets at 30???? After you're 25 If it's not a friend through work or through your wife then it's suspect. Almost as strange as Cotto's slumber party is the fact that 50 is in the hotel room in the corner watching Floyd conduct his HBO interview. There is too much Bromance on this 24/7.

Mayweather is too dumb to even realize the hypocrosy he spews. Like the last boring 24/7 he did where he's saying Ortiz does gay shit, yet he's the one talking about wanting to lock Ortiz up ''in a dungeon....NAKED!" while also running down the street in tight pink shorts.
Same guy that walks around with a designer man purse

This whole thing is played out. We know Floyd and we know Cotto. This 24/7 thing must be cheap to produce (Like all reality TV). They need to refocus the show to strictly training. Twice now we've seen Floyd play basketball in the same 24/7. Multiple 24/7's have shown Cotto cooking. The training and the hardships and sacrifices that come with being a professional fighter are much more interesting than sleeping partners, man on man ass grabbing and two rich guys with too much money walking around a casino with helmets on like a couple of window licking, short bus riding re re's.

Re: Mayweather vs. Cotto 24/7
It's cheap as far as programming goes I'm sure, but not cheap for the promoter who has to pay for it. Fat Dan said they cost about a million and a half bucks that comes out of the promoters pocket. HBO doesn't pay for it. Why always the same fucking guys on 24/7.
Bottom line is, 24/7 sucks. It's dead. When it first came out, it was must see TV because it had the NEW factor. Now, nobody watches. The ratings for last Mayweather and Pac 24/7s were horrific.
It's too bloated to where like you said, they have to fill it with irrelevant shit like Cotto cooking or a game of grab ass.
To me, it's a waste of money. I'd do a 30 minuite Countdown and put it on right after a big NBA game on TNT or something. Take that million you blow on boring 3 part series and buy a time slot on network TV and put a 20 minute Countdown on it. Get that cross-over advertising. Nobody outside hardcore fans are going to tune into to 24/7. And hardcore fans are bored with it.

Because it stinks!!!! That I blame on the TV people not the fighters etc. It's very contrived now. Anyway, I don't think they'll put it on basic cable but they can IMO improve on the product.

They already have. It's replayed on CNN at midnight on Saturday. Why even bother? Heh. Who the fuck is watching CNN at midnight on a Saturday night?
They definitly could improve the product by just going back to a Countdown. It's short and serves it's purpose. Having to fill a 4 part series about the same fighters you have to bloat it with crap.

grants correct.can the 24-7 and do one countdown show with a good time slot.1 n half million is not a investment in this case but a foolish expense.take one million and put on another decent fight at a different date.

Mayweather Explains Antics, Frustration With HBO's 24/7
Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) is not pleased with the recent 24/7 series for his upcoming fight with WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (37-2, 30KOs).
Mayweather generates the highest television ratings of the 24/7 series. However, Mayweather's fans have openly expressed their frustration with his last 24/7 series, which hyped last September's fight with Victor Ortiz, and there is further disappointment with the ongoing 24/7 series to promote this Saturday's fight with Cotto - taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The fans are not alone. Mayweather himself is disappointed with the ongoing 24/7 series. He wants to try new things with the show and provides Bentley Weiner, Director & Coordinating Producer at HBO, with fresh material - but he claims Weiner and the others behind the 24/7 series are more interested in having him rehash the same material.
"I think they show what they want to show. I sit down with 24/7, the lady Bentley of HBO. I sit down with her. I give her an interview for two hours. She tells me that she basically don't like the interview that I gave her, for two hours. I ask her 'what's the matter with the interview?' She says 'that's not what we want. We need animated Floyd. We need wild, over the top, bad language, wild.' That's what she wants. That's what they want. They feel like, that is entertainment. So, I'll give them what they want," Mayweather said.

Bottom line Floyd and his act is played out. Shit was interesting for a while but after 24/7 number 2 it went down hill!! Pac- Bradley good lord will that shit be boring to watch!! Now that mayweather allowed himself to be filmed sparring we should have seen more of that on 24/7 instead of him barking from ringside at newbies of his gym! Even the ever talkative and funny Roger Mayweather seems bored as fuck with the camera's around!
