2012 NCAA Tournament

My cats are ranked #1 overall but have what could be a rather difficult but fun path to the championship. Anyone interested in doing a bracket? I would love UK to beat WKU, UConn, IU, Duke, MSU, and KU. It would be beating my two hated teams in Duke and KU while getting revenge on IU and UConn. Throw in an in state game and Izzo is always good in the tourney.

UK has got a good chance to win it this year but we will see. anything can happen. i really dont care who wins though because i dont really favor any of the top teams over the others. at least my BYU got a 13 seed. they have a play in game though. haha.

I will enjoy the tournament, but I won't fill out any brackets. rather pointless.

the person at work who picks by what mascots or colors they like will win.

in undergrad, my friends and I would pick each round independently. So you didn't get screwed over by having 1 or 2 picks wrong. I always did very well with that.

vcu with the mild upset.

Good team. Play a fun style.

Alot of pretty good players. Top scorer for season was burgess and he only averaged 12 or 13 pts.

And VCU is one of many schools I have a degree from. Would love to see them get it done on saturday and make sweet 16 again.

I think it was a solid upset but several people did predict it. WSU was a top 15 team throughout parts of the year and VCU needed the conference tourney to get in. Shaka knows how to coach.

hampton had a big upset about 10 years ago as the 15 seed as well

UVA and Virginia Tech has stunk the last 10 years, but there has been some pretty good mid majors and lower division I men's basketball in the Commonwealth.

Duke and Michigan struggling right now. SLU, the closest I have to a hometown team, squeeked out win.

they won a title in that freaking weak ass year against butler. That duke team was not that good. one of the weakest champs in a long time.

duke hasn't been that good for a while now. Coach K recruits 3 pt shooters and doesn't bring in guys who can play inside.

There is a reason they get bounced early alot now!!!!

Duke used to have guys like Alarie, Ferry, Laetner, Parks (not that he was that good), Brand. Now the big men are just an afterthought.

First Missouri and now Duke.

Bracket Busted!

The bracket is opening up for UK but they better not forget that anyone can win on any day.

can the fucking announcers learn to stop screaming when it isn't needed. For fucksake when someone dunks with 25 mins left in the game it is only 2 pts. Are they all trying to copy Gus Johnson???

indiana and vcu. Neither has been able to make shots in 2nd half.

Duke and Mizzou messed up everyone's bracket but Vandy hurt mine in comparison to a lot of people. I also had Murray State winning what was basically a home game. I need Louisville to come up big for me to have any chance.

vcu game down to the wire again. tie game 48.5 seconds left.

vcu shooting way too many 3s in the final 5 mins.

now down 2 with 12 seconds left. they had a good shot at winning this game but not looking good now.

my little brother made a crazy suggestion, which just might be needed; play Barnes at the PG next week. Might fucking have to.

UK gets its revenge. Baylor probably is the team that comes closest to matching UK athletically. I am eliminated in my pool but I don't care as long as we can get #8. I think the 2 #2 seeds have the advantages over the #1s in those match ups. I think Pitino is just too good of a tourney coach to lose even to Donovan.

UNC can't win with Marshall injured. KU is going to handle them.

if Marshall was playing UNC would still be a slight favorite to get through them even in st louis. Without Marshall the odds are high that they get outclassed tomorrow.

i find it troubling any time a 2 or 3 seed gets a venue that is in essence a home regional.

7 mins left in first half. Tie game ohio state and Syracuse.

I have a feeling Ohio State finds a way to get it done.

I agree. I know they try to match 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, and so on but # 4 should still not get screwed over. It would've been tough this year because the proximity of 3 of the 4 #2 seeds but whatever. My bracket could be coming back alive from the Final 4 on. I think tOSU should hold on but it has gotten very tight.

the Heels are fighting like hell.

Tons of injuries this year with most important player, Marshall, out. And with 4 mins left they are right there.
