The Marine Corp produced some of the best DI's ever. For what it's worth, the Steers & Queers thing was used by Ermey in the movie on "Cowboy" who was allegedly from Oklahoma. The DI's in other service branches would sometimes use it on anyone from Oklahoma or Texas as well. They probably aren't allowed to use it anymore since fags can legally be in the U.S. military.

Thanks to her determination, and the medication she gets from the VA, she functions remarkably well. We go on 3 mile walks together several days a week now, amazing when you consider that after her brain surgery in 2010, it didn't look like she'd be able to walk again. Thanks for asking bro.
