Broner/Perez, Alexander/Maidana unofficial thread
time for boxing. Hopefully we see something worth remembering, or at the least, not fights ending with controversial decisions.

I am not a Broner fan. Come on HBO, you do your little vignette on him, how about mentioning the gift decision vs De Leon.

At 130 (ring rankings)
5-Broner
9-Perez
This should be good.

perez seems like a good guy. i havent seen him fight so i cant really say who will win this fight. broner is all talent. he makes some bad mistakes though. he is fortunate that he is fighting someone without much power.

Broner is a good fighter, but he acts like the same jackoff Flod is. He's not even in the same universe as Flod.

Broner is a cocky MF. I'd love to see Eloy drop this fool, but I doubt it.

Eloy is going to have to outbox him.

Broner took that round. He hit Perez with some solid shots in there. I know once Broner moves up, he wont look as good. He needs to stop trying to be like Floyd, no one likes an imposter.

The difference in hand speed isn't what I expected. Perez has some real skill.

Size difference is big. Broner has such a reach advantage.

Broner can be at distance where he can reach Perez, but Perez can't reach him easily.

Broner needs to take this guy out to prove he's at the next level. I am impressesed with Perez for having not seen him before though.

I can't believe Perez talked about Broner's stance and footwork. His is horrendous.

Broner has looked real impressive. Wow. I was just going to say the only thing is that he should use his right more...

Time for this guy to step up and stop fighting guys who should be at 122-126.

that Mexican style would beat that slick Mayweather style. Chavez did it to Roger and Castillo did it to FLoyd. You need to be very aggressive, close distance and out muscle the guy. I dont think anyone from 126 to 130 can beat him with the exception of Gamboa. Eloy is still very good, just Broner is a lot better. Broner will only get challenged at 135 and over.
