Perez tests positive for cocaine after Broner loss

per a boxing scene article, after the Broner loss, Perez tested positive for cocaine in the post-fight drug test.

Cocaine is out of your system in a few days, if this is true he was doing coke up until the fight. Maybe to shed weight?

yup, we test clients often when they report and it all depends on the individual but right around 3 days it would probably be the average that it stays in your system. This definitely means he was using PIN PIN days prior to the fight and i wouldn't be surprised if he did it right after that emotional interview he had with max and lampley. Really sad to i think he's a good fighter but he looked like shit during the bronner fight.

Apparently Perez going into the Broner fight, he was fighting with one had. He had a shoulder injury and still went in there and fought.
