Why do people hate the Patriots?

Just curious what it is exactly that people hate.

Belichik has all the charm of a surley homeless bum; Brady is a superstar pretty boy who is protected by the League because he's marketable, and the team is from New England (which means they're hated by the South, the West and anyone from New York).

No one cared when they sucked, but they've been an elite team for the past 10 years, which means at some point they've beaten nearly everyone's team in a big game. That'll get you hated pretty quickly.

For example this is the photo a few of my friends put up on Facebook this week:

All that makes sense. Except Belichick is hilarious. The only coach that rivals him in disregarding the media is Popovich. He's 100% football.

I don't hate the Pats, I wanted to see Eli win another SB, but it wouldn't have broken my heart to see the Pats win.

I am a Raiders fan so the tuck rule game is a point against them. I also live very near to STL and the Pats beat the Rams in the Super Bowl quite unexpectedly. The Brady-Manning debate to me always annoys me because people seem to forget the D the Pats had in their Super Bowl years as well as the coaching advantage Brady had. Spygate and I think that is about it. I am sure I could come up with more if need be.

I can see ppl hating Belichick for the simple fact that he has no likable qualities.

Ppl hating Brady are just haters. He doesnt do anything on or off the field to warrant the hate. He's a pretty boy QB who has a super model wife and some ppl think the league protects him (not his fault).Jealousy is all i can think of for the dislike of him. This all coming form a Jets fan too.

I hate the Pats because I'm a J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS fan. Belichick is a dick. When they were winning superbowls they had a decent defense. They wont win another till they spend some time on that side of the ball.

I'm in the minority here, but I like Belichick. Reason? At a certain point in any leader's life, they have to decide whether they are going to be well liked or get results. It's terribly difficult to do both. Belichick's job is to make sure the Pats produce, and he does that beautifully.

I also don't think it's a mere coincidence that Randy Moss behaved himself on the Pats. I'll leave that for you guys to figure out.

My team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. I like our coach, Mike Tomlin, however he's a players coach. He didn't have the nerve to bench Big Ben before the San Fran game (Ben was injured but insisted he could play.). I think this was due to a personal relationship between the two. Though I can't argue with Mike's success (2 SB appearances and one win is quite an accomplishment), I don't prefer player coaches whether they are Tomlin or Bill Cowher. I'm a Chuck Noll guy. LOL

Brady's wife was a supermodel, but does anyone else here think her face is horrible???

Yeah she is ugly as hell.

People hate the Pats because they win and Brady is fucking super models and lives in Beverly Hills. Maybe his wife is ugly, but don't forget she has friends.
