BOXING TRIVIA

all 3 of us were a kockout victom in our first year of fighting.in fact one of us was koed in his first fight and another was koed in his third fight yet all 3 of us are always mentioned in a digussion of the greatest fighters of all time.in fact 2 of us are on everyones list as one of the greatest 12 fighters of all time.who are we.

I can only think of Pacquiao at the moment.

btw one of my favorite fighters was wilfredo vazquez and he also lost his debut then went on to to win three belts at three different weight classes

armstrong indeed is one.he got koed in his first fight.robinson won and was unbeaton in his first few years.nope.ray was stoped only once by maxim attemting to win the light heavy crown in that now famous fight in the heat where even ref ruby goldstein collapsed in the middle of the fightand had to be replaced.

i remember hearing about another great fighter that was KO'd early in his career other than armstrong but i cant remember who. ill just throw out a guess. benny leonard? jack dempsey?

leonard could qualify as one of the greats talked about yes.he was koed also in his first fight but i was thinking jack johnson stoped in his third fight instead..2 all time greats that are in everyones top 12 are yes armstrong the other is harry greb..there may be a few experts that would exclude benny from the top 12..great guess powerpuncher.
