I weigh 215lbs. But its taken me a little over 3 years to get there. What's funny is that one of our coaches hasn't lifted in over a year and he put up 425 the other day just to piss me off.UBeeg9cats wrote:How much do you weigh? 400 is impressive.

I've lifted for quite awhile and I'm still nowhere near that. I bet I'm around 230-240 max at 180 lbs.

I am also on supplements. I take c4 and wheybolic. Are you taking a protein after you lift? What lifting regiment are you on? I take protein and occasionally I will cycle in creatine. I usually go with a 5x5 for bench but I am doing a more complete total body workout starting last week with my cousin. Lots of compound exercises.

1st- 15 reps
2nd- 12 reps
3rd- 8 reps
4th- 6 reps
5th- 4 reps
6th- 12 reps
The last set is the hardest. What you do is on the first set of 15 its just a warm up. You need to get blood flowing in that area so that you get the biggest muscle gains. So you just go up in weight with every set. This is the workout I have gained the most from. I have tried 3 sets of 10, 5 of 5. 3 of 5 but the best for me is pyramid.

With the amount of squats and deadlifts I currently am trying to do, I will have to try the pyramid "next" workout. I plan on doing these for 6 weeks first. Its hard for me to tell you how long I've lifted because I have done it off and on for 12 years. I lifted hard in the summer the first 4 but only did 3 sets of 10 workouts. I took most of college off. I lifted really hard for about 8 months about 3 years ago. I hurt my shoulder and took time off. I've been stuck in neutral the last year or so.

When I started lifting again I was only benching 185. I didn't lift in college or the first two years of my teaching career. I was 270lbs of fat ass then I started eating right and lifting. Now I am 215 but hell I am 6'4 I should weigh around that right? Any lifting is going to make you stronger. That is the way to go. Now I that I have a spotter, I have more confidence to go for the reps that really help. You must have nearly opposite genes of me. I'm 5'11 and when I didn't work out for a couple years, I weighed 160. Getting up to 180 was tough for me.
