Ring Champ analysis Empty Ring Champ analysis

We have 6 champs with 5 being in the more prestigious original divisions.
For cruiserweight, Cunningham has beaten all challengers just not at the time they were ranked 2nd. He did fail against Adamek.
The Super 6 will crown the super middle champ in late October.
Junior middleweight is stagnant IMO with Cotto of Top Rank and Canelo of Golden Boy being 2 of the top guys but will probably kept far away from each other. I know Angulo is #2 right now but I doubt he keeps it and he isn't big enough to get Cotto anyways.
At welterweight, we know the fight that needs to happen. I think this next try at it is more or less do or die. The fight would lose momentum because there is NO ONE left for these 2 to fight in the interim after the upcoming PPVs.
We know Khan should get the chance at 140 but I don't know what they will do with Bradley or how long Amir stays.
At 130, I think Frank Warren is all but refusing the fight for the Ring Belt that Burns wants.
With John fighting for more money in his backyard, it would take a Juanma destruction of Salido to get this belt up for grabs in a potential fight.
I actually think 122 has a chance to be filled in the next year or so. Rigondeaux will get his chance against Ramos and Rafa Marquez against Nishioka. If Rigo and Rafa win, I like the chances. The other fights are less likely and Donaire may steal a top spot soon too.
With Donaire on his way out and the Mares-Agbeko rematch ordered, the only way this possibly gets filled is Ring taking Donaire out of the rankings as soon as he announces he is moving up.
I believe Cazares is worthy and willing but the challengers are not.
I don't know anything about strawweight.

I don't think it is a coincidence the original divisions are the ones with the champs.

between different promotional outfits, ABC organizations, and even the promoters preventing such fights, you are correct.
