IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green and American challenger Antonio Tarver have displayed impressive physiques as they prepare for Wednesday's world title bout at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
While there was a whisper beforehand that 42-year-old Tarver might struggle to make the weight, it was the 38-year-old champion who was closer to the limit.
At the unofficial weigh-in on Tuesday, both men came in under the 90kg limit with Green marginally the heavier.
However, the official weigh-in won't be conducted until 7pm (AEST).
"He's been foxing all the way through this camp so, when the bell goes tomorrow night, that's when it really counts," Green said.
The Green camp wasn't surprised at how strong Tarver looked.
"I knew he (Tarver) was in good nick and he would want to be in good nick if he is going to stand up to what Greeny is going to dish out to him," Green's trainer Angelo Hyder told AAP.
Multiple world light heavyweight champion Tarver said he was never going to weigh in over the limit because of his professionalism.
"That's my responsibility, to come ready to fight and I'm here and putting everybody on notice I'm ready to fight. Danny Green is in for the fight of his life," Tarver said.

Antonio Tarver is a "piece of meat I'll break down and chop up", IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green said before Wednesday's world title fight at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
Green was playful and feisty as he responded to comments made by the Tarver camp.
Tarver's veteran trainer Jim Williams described Green's style as "primitive" so Green was armed with a couple of caveman clubs when he entered the pre-fight media conference.
The champion's camp was also less than impressed that Team Tarver had commented on Roy Jones Jr's complaints about the wraps Green used on his hands for that fight.
"Affectionately, the Americans have sometimes been flagged as 'septic tanks' and there's a reason for that, because there's been nothing but crap come out of their mouths, so far," Green said.
He said he regarded Tarver as the toughest challenge of his career.
"We're well and truly aware of what we are up against in this fight," Green said.
"He's a phenomenal fighter.
"He's a four-time world champion and a future Hall of Famer, but the respect is gone as far as a fighter and human being.
"When the bell goes, he's a piece of meat that's in front of me that I have to break down and chop up."
Tarver said he was approaching the bout as if it would be the last of his stellar career.
"I just personally feel they picked the wrong guy," Tarver said.
"They thought that an old, slow, 42-year-old guy would be showing up on Wednesday night.
"But that's not the case.
"You've got a hungry, determined assassin."

I'm picking Tarver although I feel worse seeing his trainer is Buddy. I think this will be a pretty good scrap.

He beat a 60 year old Rocky, a prime Rocky would've destroyed him Green takes this out.

Maybe but that rocky still had something in the basement. So it still counts!

Good to see Tarver coming in decent shape, but I still think Green mugs him.

I'll be flying all day tomorrow. It sucks that I'm going to miss this because for some reason I find it kind of interesting.
Tarver looks great at this weight. I prefer Green about 10 pounds lighter.

I think it depends on how he and Tarver both look during the fight. Cruiser is wide open IMO. Cunningham has beaten a lot of the guys but Ross was taking it to him in their fight, Huck lost to Lebedev on my scorecard, Wloadarczyk-Palacios was very close, Lebedev didn't blow away Roy, and Ross looked great but went inactive. This division is absolutely perfect for a tournament of either Super 6 or single elmination style yet it isn't happening.
