What a waste of a fight for both men.

I think its a fine fight for Tarver. He shouldn't be fighting at Heavyweight and Green is a big money, highly respected cruiser. He is also small for the weight class.

Now Green could be going after a legit cruiser. He brings in more money than most of the top names.

It's in Sydney so it should get the locals up for it.

Wouldn't be surprised if Green won, Tarver's way past it and has little pop above Light Heavyweight.

i'll be suprised if green doesn't win,but disappointed he even considered this bout.he should of been doing all he could to get involved in a cruiserweight super six style tourny,but he would prefer to be a big fish in a little pond...as i said 1 or 2 weeks ago this was being mooted as a prelude to fighting garth wood,should wood double up over mundine next week.both bouts rate about 2 on the care meter

Wood is way too small for Danny Green.

i agree & too crude,inexperienced,but not as small as mundine & that hasn't stopped media talk about mundine v green.fox is talking about catchweight type bout.they'll meet middle ground,if wood does the double.it's not what i want but it's the talk in circles here.

I thought for awhile now. He is #6 in Ring rankings behind cunningham, huck, Wlodarczyk, Lebedev, and Ross. The top 3 have trinkets and I'm pretty sure the Ring belt would be on the line for 1 vs 3. Lebedev beat Huck in the opinion of many and Ross was looking very good against Cunningham. Green is a big enough name they have considered him for the S6 Cruiser tourney which is basically all Sauerland guys.

He brings in a lot of money by evidence of Roy willing to go outside of the country even before he was in tax problems. I heard Roy made 7 figures but it could be just a rumor.

Roy made $3 million. Green made more. Green is the money man at cruiser as long as he fights in 'stralia.

It is a much better fight for Tarver than fighting at HW (which is pointless as he is never going to be able to beat a Klit or Haye).
