Mayweather Accused of Threatening Guards with Guns
http://www.tmz.com/2011/05/05/floyd-mayweather-jr-cars-security-guards-las-vegas-charged-misdemeanor-harassment-kill-guns/
According to the criminal complaint, it all happened back in October -- before Mayweather's face-poking incident -- two security guards cited a couple of Mayweather's cars parked outside his 12,000-foot mansion ... and Floyd flipped.
Mayweather allegedly threatened the guards -- who patrol the boxer's upscale housing community -- after he noticed the citations, claiming, "My homies have guns. If you want me to call them, they'd come over here and take care of you."
According to the complaint, Floyd added, "These are my f**king cars. Don't touch my f**king cars."
Calls to Mayweather's camp weren't returned.

He's getting jail time. That is not even up to dispute. The question will be, how much.

He's got enough money to afford a good enough lawyer that can keep all these charges separate. If he had to go in front of a judge with all of this crap at one time, he'd be doing time for sure. I'd love to see him go to jail though.GrantZilla wrote:He's getting jail time. That is not even up to dispute. The question will be, how much.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I'm with Floyd on this one.
These HOA sons of bitches go around neighborhoods acting foolish a lot of the time. You pay a certain amount to live in a place and these mfs come around using zero discretion. The whole reason people have HOA is to make sure no BS is going on, like a guy not cutting his lawn or someone with an El Camino on the street up on blocks.
But when they start in with the petty stuff, they should go f themselves. They tried to give me flack one time for a plant on the balcony or for having some of my associates smoking on the balcony and that's getting away from their original purpose. Floyd having a lambo parked on the street is babyshit alongside of what these HOA's were set up to curtail.
And don't tell me they aren't honing in on the blinged out mouthy superstar. But with that said, FLoyd should just move. Most people are locked into these bad situations. He has the resources to change it.

scotts correct to a point..security or hoas do get at times very petty..floyd apparently doesnt need much to tick him off also..i saw the clip of floyd trying to get into his compound past the gate guard..yep floyd had no id on him but common the guy knew who he was.common sence say mr mayweather ill let you in of course but please next time have your id because i can get into trouble doing this even though i know who you are..that BS could of been avoided..floyd i dont like cause of his mouth attitutude and lack of respect most of the time but..petty is petty..then floyd of course makes matters worse by overeacting even though in a case of pettiness i can see his point and maybe even agree with it.

I just don't like people f'ing with me at my home. Floyd is probably worse than me temper-wise, so imagine.
There's just something especially offensive about people whose salaries you pay going around nit-picking on you at your home. I was relieved when I moved out of there. Until I saw my neighbor with 14 cars on his lawn. It's a give and take.

It is give or take. Celbs want a place where they can live in private, don't got people camped out on their lawn, their home violated, ect, yet bitch about high security protocol.
Rules are rules. He obviously agreed to the rules when he purchased his house. From what I read, he refused to put the security clearance stickers on his car, had no ID. The guard could likely get fired for letting him go without checking proper channels first.

No doubt. I just think a little discretion would go a long way. I mean, that's at the root of almost all beefs with security or other chicken-shit authority figures.
You get a dopey security guy who can't keep his eye on the ball. They're supposed to keep things quiet. They see it's Floyd Mayweather. Let him in. Who's gonna do anything? It's better to cause a scene? If I was behind him trying to get in, I'd get out and tell the security guard to speed things along.
All I'm saying is HOA is there for a reason. That reason isn't to break balls about every little thing. And that's what it's turned into in a lot of places.

Same goes for Floyd, why even waste the time and effort with the security guards in the first place?
Follow the simple ass rules and you have no problems. I get that people will see $ signs when they see him but dont give them the opportunity to cash in

Re: Mayweather Accused of Threatening Guards with Guns
For some people, and for myself to some degree, there is something unacceptable about a person whose salary I pay for telling me I cannot enter the home I paid 2005 prices for.
I hear what you guys are saying about him following the simple rules. True enough. But at the moment someone is telling me I can't get into my home, ticky-tack rules aside, I can see getting pretty damned steamed where I'd probably say something really ignorant.

Well, that's not how I handle myself anymore (as of 3 months ago at least) so probably not. But the whole HOA community is a group I will not defend. There needs to be more physical confrontations with their likes as far as I'm concerned.
You don't mess with a man's vehicle or his home. And not that this is an easy position to sympathize with, but do you want some horrific security sticker on your Bentley? And did you ever notice these HOA bastards make no accomodations for parking ever? Sometimes people gotta park. You have guests, whatever. They don't think anyone ever needs to park.
They cross the line. They're not there to have some dude take down his American flag, tell him to move a planted fern, or to sweat his parking situation. They're supposed to patrol renegade behavior not get in the face of the very homeowners who pay their salary about little stuff. I go by the Golden Rule not their 400-page handbook.

it doesn't matter whether someone deserves anything. Taking any action that could be against the law is not a good idea.

As your friendly neighborhood attorney, physical confrontations are to be avoided. As your 6 ft 2, 210 pound posting fiend, I'd advise kicking ass and taking names.
