should undeserving mandatory Selcuk Aydin get his shot at Ortiz?

He never got his shot at Berto and is now calling for Ortiz to fight him. I mean for people around the sport, Jo Jo Dan boxed his ears off and got flat out robbed (I didnt watch it, but Im sure its true). I know hes won 3 WBC (2 in reality) eliminators against weaker compeition. I dont know why the WBC didnt force Berto to fight him, i wonder if theyre gonna force Ortiz to do it. IMO Ortiz should fight him on the undercard of Bradley vs Khan for July. Berto should fight on the under card against Jones or Brook. Some can wish right.....

Ortiz doesn't need the trinket, and should dump it. Nobody and especialy no network would pay for a joke match up like this.

I see this more of a fight to stay active for Ortiz, Aydin wont be much of a challenge. Ortiz will knock him out, plus a lot of fighters love these titles because they want to be called worl champions. Reason why these ABC belts are around the sport is because the majority of fighters want to hold them. I see Ortiz wanting to keep the strap.

I don't know about that. Jones Jr made almost nothing when he had all his trinkets do to all the fees.

Baldi couldn't keep the belts after beating Zab because he couldn't afford it, so Zab kept them, which was a disgrace.

The Klits are pretty dumb paying for all their trinkets. Wlad's got like four sanctioning fees

are we talking aydin here.this week ring mag ranks him number 10 so i guess ring is no longer a legit ranking system.ortiz now has a belt and in his interviews after the fight it shows he values that belt.
who he fights next i dont know but im sure some decent offers will come his way soon to consider..why not a unranked fighter at welter called paul williams.he claims he wants to reurn at 147..this would be a big opptunity to show if hes serious or not.it would be a decent match also.

I'd rather see guys who I haven't seen than the same guys over and over again. Unless those same guys keep on winning and deserve to keep moving up. Fighters should prove themselves in the ring.

Welter has become crap in the last two years. Him getting in the top ten just shows the lack of depth currently in the division.

Again Aydin has decent wins and is an estalished welterweight, beat Ouali in brawl, has wins over Jo Jo Dan (seen beating down Forbes on FNFs this year), and Jackie Bonsu
