Interesting ending to the press conference! Hopkins came to the front of the dais for the face off and somehow had the belt. When Pascal reached for it, Bernard started to play keep away and the two started a bit of a scuffle. Bernard was stone faced and kept repeating quietly, but intensely, "I'm going to make you quit."

before the Calzaghe fight at the weigh in B Hop kept shouting "D-Block" "D-Block" in reference to his stint in prison before he became "reformed". i don't understand why though, if it was an intimidation tactic then he was barking up the wrong tree. i think that Ring letting B Hop parade their/ Jean's title around was totally disrespectful but class is something Hopkins knows nothing about. it's all his pre-fight psychological battle, he's trying to get under Pascal's skin to make him fight angry, Hopkins is the master of using somebodies offense work against them. i think i might put a prop bet on how many times Hopkins feigns injury or how many minutes of the fight Hopkins can make tick away with his shenanigans

yeah you have to give him credit he is extremely clever when you look into what he actually does in the build up to fights. i don't see why fighters who are facing him haven't tried some of his tactics. it would be great to see somebody take an American flag and burn it in front of him or take the piss about him going to prison in the first place. it seems odd that not one fighter has had the mindset to dish it back as good as Hopkins does

He's made a name for himself beating smaller fighters. He's going after Pascal because wanted no part of Dawson.

Not possible. Pascal is 100 times faster and more mobile then PAvlik.
