Re: Soccer thread
Liverpool fans even burned Torres shirt like Cleavland fans did with LeBron's shirt.

Re: Soccer thread
Arsenal 4-0 up at the half and couldn't win then Man Ure lose their first game to bottom placed Wolves. What a day of Soccer.

Liverpool win again baby. That's 4 games in a row with no goals conceded either.

Re: Soccer thread
Things are finally starting to look up for Liverpool, King Kenny is a magician.
Yesterday was stacked with goals, so many games were exhilarating.

Re: Soccer thread
Spurs looked great beating AC Milan at the San Siro. Flamini should have been sent off for a ridiculous two footed challenge, and Gattuso tried to fight with Joe Jordan

Good luck. No Fabregas or Walcott though.

Re: Soccer thread
Birmingham won 2-1
All credit to Birmingham, they were the better team throughout the 90 minutes. However the mistake at the end just pisses me off, Arsene might be a genius but his reluctance to spend money is really beginning to frustrate me, it's not like Arsenal don't have money to spend because we make a profit with each home game. Arsene should have bought a goalkeeper and centre back in the January window, Shay Given and Chris Samba are exactly what we need.

Not really, Birmingham were better and Wenger's reluctance to spend money came back to bite him in the ass.

No excuses. Arsenal should've won easy. They choked.

Did you watch the match ?? Birmingham were by far the better team.

Re: Soccer thread
Yes I watched. Birmingham were the better team because Arsenal choked. Arsenal players are much better and should've won easy. There is a reason why you guys are 2nd and they are battling relegation.

I don't see how the team is choking when we've got an above average defense and a goalkeeper who doesn't even shave yet. Also Arsenal don't really have a natural leader, Fabregas doesn't have the leadership qualities Patrick Veira and Tony Adams had.
League positions mean nothing in cup ties, wasn't that long ago that Portsmouth won the FA cup.

Re: Soccer thread
Portsmouth came 7th that year and had a good team. How are Arsenal coming 2nd then if they are so bad? A maximum of 2 Birmingham players would make the Arsenal starting side.

Arsenal have a tremendous offense, despite being second in the league they've had alot of hiccups this season.

Re: Soccer thread

Yeah that Arshavin goal should have counted. But still we were pretty poor and blew our chance to close the gap.
Great result for Liverpool, Suarez was outstanding.

Honestly Liverpool don't really need Carrol lol, still a great option to have on the bench though.
