Re: Soccer thread
Looks like Fabregas is on his way to Barcelona for £35 million.
It's about time, Cesc has paid his dues and stay long enough to honor the club, time to let him go back home and use the money to strengthen the defense.

Do you actually expect Wenger to spend the money?

Freddie Adu possibly returning to the MLS
http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/news/_/id/6854572/freddy-adu-return-mls-philadelphia-union-reports-say
Good move, I think Freddie will be a much better player without all the pressure on him, he just a 14 year old kid when he first came in the league.

hahahaha, does Arsenal have ANYOBDY left? Always had a soft spot for them since one of my coaches had a very brief run with them (spent most of his career in the low levels of English soccer).

Re: Soccer thread
I have a soft spot for them too. I like the style they play and Ian Wright was 1 of my favorite players growing up. It's sad that all their problems are because of their manager.

We still have Walcott, Wilshire, Arshavin and RVP.

Walcott is always injured. Wilkshire isn't a game winner and Arshavin is inconsistent. RVP is a beast though. 5th spot is best hope.

Lame, Samuel Etoo on his way to Anzhi Makhachkala. What a waste, I always wanted to see Etoo in the EPL.

Nasri's having a medical at City. Deal worth £25 mill and he'll get £90,000 a week.

Re: Soccer thread
Their defense is horrible. Makes United not look that good because even Blackburn scored 4.
Barcelona with an 8-0 victory today. Cesc scores again.
