Stream that shit. I'll be at an amateur MMA show that night (guys from my gym fighting, one guy is making his debut), I hope it bombs, but it will probably get over a million buys.

I read on espn boxing that 1.floyd admits hes the one who picks who he fights2.the article states its Floyd who sets the ppv fight price .3.floyd also determines how much the other guy gets paid.
that's strong control by Floyd under haymons watchfull eye and advise.it assures him of eating well and almost alone.70 dollars.its floyds idea.

if thats true then floyd's nickname is very well deserved. for all of the stupid decisions he makes in his personal life, he sure knows how to take over a situation.

on the surface it sounds outrageous, but at the same time is it really? most people watch big fights with groups of friends who chip in or take turns buying ppvs whatever. they account for this when setting the prices for these im sure. with 1 million buys, promoters probably feel like they are being jipped by the people watching it together. 1 million buys probably means closer to 10 million+ watching the fight. personally i dont have an issue with the price, i have a group of about 10 friends i watch all the ppvs with, so even if it were 100 id still probably watch cuz whats $10 a person? as with anything, they are going to set the price at the highest possible point they think they can without suffering too much of a dropoff in sales. the last ppvs were like 65 right? its only $5 more and if you consider the inflation rate its probably less than that.

well the guarantee purses are in .32 million for Floyd a record. 3 million for RG.floyd indeed eats alone but in spite of that RG will get a purse well beyond anything he can make.the live gate a sellout in just over a day will bring in 8-10 million and the ppvs will do well.floyd will top 40 million RG a good 4..if Floyd does win and another big if is fighting alvarez on sept 14 then don't be suprized if Floyd gets a 40-45 plus million dollar guarantee with a back end that will exceed 50 million dollars....we can dislike him a ton I sure do but but.give the guy his props hes a mega draw in the Oscar Tyson etc etc mold.
on the other hand I can see pacs next fight doing about 850 000 ppvs.if its alvardo..rios a little more.still under a million I feel.this fight leaves no doubt Floyd is boxings biggest star by far..

its actually a pretty good card. say what you will about the main event but it will be a good scrap. i truly think guerrero is better than the version of cotto floyd fought. so main event is solid not great, ponce vs mares is a great fight, and rosado j'leon love is another damn good fight. well worth buying for me, or at the least streaming. this card is better than most of the crap arum puts out so i do have to give that to GBP there is more depth in their cards IMO

must be nice to know people that like boxing. I don't. I either stream, bite the bullet and buy the ppv, or go to a theatre to watch it (which was only possible for cotto vs mayweather and this PPV where I live).

I'm undecided whether I am leaving home in 1hr 45 mins to drive to theatre or stream from home. No way I'm buying the PPV.
