Dmar, Marciano got his nose broken 17 times, yet retired with a record of 49-0. Ali fought 12 rounds against Norton with a broken jaw. I've even seen lesser figthers with major, even frightening injuries, come back and win fights (Margarito's broken orbital bone vs. Pac.). You can't teach heart.

frank i dont know where you get your information from but whats said here is totaly false.first ali did fight with a broken jaw with norton but it wasnt for 12 rounds.ang dundee loves to fib at times on several things claims alis jaw was broke in the second round.it wasnt.later in the fight yes.even norton states that..second on marciano this is twice you wrote about the multi breakings of rockys nose.17 times.who told you that.if you read that then whoever wrote it is totaly ignorant of facts.rocky in the second charles fight got his nose split but not broken.theres a differnce.i have 10 marciano fights on film and none of them show a broken nose.in the first lastarza fight and the vingo fight there were no reports of any broken nose.he koed several guys in the first round also..ive read a good 5 bios on rocky as well as followed his career when he was fighting like i did alis tysons patterson and many others and i dont remember reading in any magazine that he suffered a broken nose once let alone 17 times.

thats the kind of person you have to be if you want to box. somehow ortiz was talented enough to slide by with no heart and land a few bigger fights which he has lost. im starting to think that more and more the berto fight was a fluke.
