You would think in this day and age, fighters would be smarter than they were years ago, but some things NEVER change.

A top level fighter like Agbeko getting $4,000 for a fight is so ridiculous, it seems like something out of a bad movie. But it's real(smh)...

Its literally that fighters are stupid enough to fall for immediate gratification. He shows up living large with a bag full of money and they don't realize that the bag is peanuts compared to how much they will lose in EACH fight they fight with him. Combine that with only one fight a year and it is a horrible recipe.

Don King must still have master persuasion skills.

I remember Andreas Kotelnik being excited to sign with King and looked what happen to him

This was against William Gonzalez way back in '08 on the undercard of Adamek-Cunningham, I remember it because I was there. It was on VS. I can only imagine how much Don stole from his fights with Perez, Mares and Darchinyan.
