Perhaps I am mistaken, but it seems to me that Garcia has the ability- if not the inclination- to implement and execute a lot of the same gameplan that Peterson used with so much success against Amir...

And Danny hits harder.

Wont be shocked at all if Garcia stops him.

I like Amir, but he is going to have to shore up his D. if Roach cant do it, then maybe Garcia or Mayweather.

And no, I don't think Manny Steward can do for Khan what he did for Wlad. There is a difference between teaching good D and teaching an already tall guy to fight taller.

there are things fighters do by instinct and anticipation on defence yet there on the attack.kahn does zero and roach tought him zero.examples.marciano did so many things that went unnoticed defensively while on the attack untill you look very close.he was exceptional.so was duran in his prime.ward today does a resonable job.ray leanord did well..look when you throw a certain punch or combo you do such n such defensively also.its worked on untill it becomes automatic..lou duva was good at teaching his fighters that.ray arcel and charley goldman where masters at that teaching.thats the differnce betwween a good fighter and a very good fighter or a near great to great one.the same with trainers...i can litterly write a novel on the art of anticipation instinct and the reflexes of the mind.sorry roach doesnt have a clue.
