Senchenko vs Paulie M.

50 yr old holyfield made an appearance. Not to fight thankfully. But sad when a fighter who made as much money as he did is having to make appearances in the Ukraine and getting whatever that pays.

paulie won round 2. competitive but I think Paulie landed the cleaner shots in both rounds.

paulie is doing some damage to senchenko's left eye as of end of round 3.

3-0 Paulie. competitive but paulie is outboxing him in each round.

Just tuned in. Paulie looks good so far. I'm not sure why everyone's always down on him. Just because he can't punch doesn't mean he doesn't try to make good fights.

he wasn't good enough to beat top guys like Khan, Hatton, Cotto, but he was a lower top 10 guy at 140 and was good enough to beat most other guys. And he has heart.

that round was close. Senchenko landed 5 pretty good shots. Paulie carried most of rest of the round. I gave it to Senchenko.

problem paulie has is he should be up 3-1 or 4-0, but I doubt the judges there have him ahead after 4 rounds.

Paulie's really a gifted boxer. He's putting work to the body, moving in and out, slipping punches, countering. He's just peppering a clearly stronger guy.

its a bullshit trinket, but he won the fight and he can come back home and earn a very big payday that will be his pension fight.

Sunday School. I'd like to see Paulie in the mix with the guys at 147. A fight with him and Alexander outside of St. Louis makes a lot of sense.

he is not going to take anything too hard for his next fight. Brooklyn is opening the Barclays center and with nba starting there in the fall, new building, etc..., paulie is looking at a fall fight there and I'm sure he will want a little easier fight than Alexander.
