Wlad could get a 85% split against Tony

Per the request of promoter Dan Goossen, who handles heavyweight Tony Thompson (36-2, 24KOs), the IBF has scheduled a purse bid for the mandatory fight with IBF/WBA/IBO/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko (57-3, 50KOs). The purse bid will take place on March 27th at 12 Noon, at the IBF's offices in Springfield, New Jersey. Under Rule 10.E, Klitschko’s camp requested a change in the purse bid split. The majority of the IBF's board of directors voted for an 85% split for Klitschko, with the remaining 15% going to Thompson.

The fight us a rematch of their 2009 encounter, which Klitschko won by knockout in the eleventh round.

As well he should. Thompson is a nobody. He's fought nobody to get this title shot. And it will be Wlad packing the arean and drawing huge numbers on German TV, not Thompson.

Thats bullshit. What a greedy bastard. Why the hell should Tony get 15%? It should be more like 3% or lower. The guy sucks and Wlad is the money. Very Happy

you got Chisora, Arreola, Huck, and other new challengers out there but these fuckers keep going after fights nobody cares about

i agree. these guys are just fighting their mandatories because they can pay them peanuts and make millions. i'm more than bored now. i'd rather watch the non champion heavyweights have it out. much more entertainment

Chisora and Arreola already got their Klitschko beatdowns. Huck would get massacred. Cant blame the bros when there is no real challengers.

I asked him what was gonna be different? He said he was injured in the first fight, would be in better shape, blah, blah, blah....I told him, please, make a liar out of me & bring the title home. He'll get crushed.

He isn't going to do shit differently. This time will be no different. He'll do fine for a few rounds, but aftering eating Wlad's more powerful shots and unable to do anything back, he'll give up and let Wlady knock him out.
