It's like what Rocky was to boxing.
Unlike most football movies that try and get all realistic and shit, making the football scenes bland and boring, The Waterboy like Rocky took the sport to absurd, cartoonish levels.
I still cringe when Sandler takes his rage out on the QB and tackles their ass to the ground.
