No wonder no one wants anything to do with Golovkin

too much talent etc & too small a name.in these days of trinkets,he's too big a risk for too little gain.until he's a mandatory or builds his profile,he's caught between a rock & a hard place.
would like to see him v pirog,all things being equal.

Apparently he wants nothing to do with Pirog right now.

so it's possible he won't take risks,hoping to get a shot at a trinket.probably have to wait til he's a mandatory.he has no real drawing power etc,not likely strap holders will choose to fight him,at least not for a while.maybe geale might fight him,though i'm hoping geale fights sturm in his next couple.

Pirog has a trinket and wants to fight him, but Golovkin's team doesn't want to fight him.

My problem with that is Golovkin is 29 years old, hes at the age where he can fight anyone, and Pirog is 31, thats pretty old. They both need to step up and fight Top 10 opponents in their weight class. Feeding on bums isnt going to help them out.

It was supposed to be on the Vitali-Mormeck undercard. So they had to move it.
