Dan Rafael
Been told Paul Williams' likely opponent 1/21 on @SHOsports will be Nobuhiro Ishida, same fight @HBOboxing accepted then turned down in July

I think it's safe to say Hayman has taken his "talents" to Showtime

nothing wrong with the fight. The question is how much did Showtime pay for it. I won't assume they overpaid ridiculously until I hear so (but I am worried that they did). PW wasn't a star, isn't a star, and doesn't deserve to be paid like it.

I think i read that this will be on ShoBox. The fight couldnt have cost too much.

Most of Paul Williams fights belong on Shobox. The only fights of his that deserved to be on HBO were his two with Martinez and his fight with Margarito. All his other fights were pretty much crap.

Do you guys think that if Williams wins that this could set-up a Kirkland fight? I wouldn't mind seeing Kirkland vs Williams.

it would be a good fight while it lasted. williams is too easy to hit though. kirkland would KO him.

After Williams goes through Ishida does Kirkland still need to get a revenge win to redeem himself? I'm predicting he loses to Molina so I doubt there will be a Williams v. Kirkland fight any time soon.
