Mayweather got his guarantee from Golden Boy on the night of the fight, as I recall $25 million. Ortiz's side got its guarantee, which was about $2.5 million. I don't think it did. Sounds to me like they padded the figures. Likely tickets sold from people went to the theator and threw it in.

It shouldn't have taken as long as it did. And still not been official. This is what Fat Dan has been told.

Kevin Iole tweeted the number he had heard for Hops-Dawson was 40k. If that's true, Hops will now be part of two of the biggest HBO PPV bombs ever.

Ouch so in theory HBO lost about $1 million.
