Oklahoma vs Texas

Big game today. I'm not a big college football fan but even I'm pumped about this one.

Yup Capt, the "Red River Shootout" starts about 20 minutes, on ABC I believe, I hope all the Sooner players show up, after a long night out in Dallas stealing hubcaps, they might not be awake yet.

just as I type it, Texas gets the huge kick return TD to get it to a much more respectable 27-10.

Sooners TD with 30 seconds left in the first half takes the momentum back and gives them a big 34-10 lead.

55-17 final, Oklahoma is off to another great start, typically if they get by Texas, their first loss of the season isn't until a Bowl game in January.

Seriously Sooner, they look great this year, I hope they win the NCG.

first time I've watched the Sooners this year and they looked great.

OU, OSU, Bama, LSU, Wisc, and Stanford all look great so far. OU-OSU and Bama-LSU will shave 2 contenders off. I could easily see 4 go undefeated but there always seems to be at least one MAJOR fluke upset every year.

I didn't realize how young Texas is right now. I knew about their QB but the entire team is young.

I really hope we don't have to play LSU at LSU again in the ncg.

I don't understand why every time we make it to the ncg we have to play someone on their home field. This shit needs to change. They should always have to travel.

Texas benched Gilbert, and started alternating Colt McCoy's brother, Case McCoy (a sophomore), and David Ash (a freshman) at QB. The 2 QB's for Texas, and the rest of the offense, and defense did really great the last 4 weeks prior to today, but Oklahoma is on a different level, and just exposed all the 'Horns glaring weaknesses.

Texas could still have a good year, winning season, and make a Bowl appearance somewhere, with their inexperience, few expected them hang with the Sooners.

BTW, LSU creamed Florida today, they're looking mighty tough right now, but so is Alabama.

Wisconsin didn't play this week but I think they're the real deal this year too. Not to mention Boise State, OK State, and some other quality teams like Oregon and Stanford. It'll be a fun season.
