Junior welterweight titlist Marcos Maidana was offered the main event against former lightweight titlist Humberto Soto, who recently moved up in weight and signed with Golden Boy, but Maidana turned it down. He fought last week and the money was less than he wanted, Schaefer said. He said Maidana is considering a fight in the United Kingdom against his mandatory challenger, Paul McCloskey.

Was to headline a HBO B.A.D on Nov 26th.

HBO might be paying less w/no Greenburg now

We know they'll have a packed house wherever he fights McCloskey. Gate $, UK-Argentina tv deals, might be enough for them to get it done
