Maidana vs Guerrero OFF !!!!!!

RingTv.com has learned that Robert Guerrero has suffered a shoulder injury that will force the cancelation of his fight with Marcos Maidana that was scheduled for Aug. 27.

Guerrero-Maidana was to be televised on HBO.

Doubt it, Maidana's too much in love with that bogus trinket the WBA were putting up for grabs. Hopefully it's rescheduled for later in the year.

I wasnt too intrigued by this fight anyway to be honest. I think Guerrero needs to stay at lightweight.

Almost sold out venue so you cancel the ONLY two fights scheduled?

This is super disappointing. It was probably the only fight in the summer that would have lived up to the hype. Robert Guerrero seems to always luck out in points in his career, this will be one of them if this fight isnt rescheduled.

Actually there was a line of fights on the card, they were just going to televise two. Check out the card on Fat Dan's schedule on ESPN.

If Matthysse get beats Morlaes, which is likely. Khan vs Mathhysse is not bad at all. Khan is just taking on the best of the division, time and time again. Pretty soon everyone will have him at #1 and drop Bradley down the ratings.

So what? He could still become a real Champ in his division before moving up. And there's no reason why he can't do what Hatton did, and hold onto Championship at Jr Welter and still take fights at Welter. Not like he would get stripped unless didn't defend it for a year. Maybe Bitch Bradley will come around in that time.

You're taking this Ring shit overboard now.

Khan already beat Maidana fair and square the first time around. Why would a rematch be for the lineal 140 pd title? Maidana since that fight has done nothing but narrowly beat a faded fighter who's 2 or 3 divisions above his best weight class.

Not sure why u have a hard on for Khan getting the ring belt when he's going to move up to 147 anyway. Then we'll be back to another Ring vacancy.
